Tyler CP6

It is really interesting to hear how other cultures celebrate American holidays. For Ms. Kim, their family celebrated Thanksgiving in Orlando. She didn't really go into any detail about any food they prepared but it seemed that they instead recognized the day by doing something as a family. Ms. Kim told me how they took the girls to Sea World. The girls would chime in every now and then describing the varying sea animals they seen. It then began to make sense why the books they chose during our sessions were mostly about whales and penguins. Children are so brilliant. Ms. Kim seemed more interested in hearing about my experience instead. I told about my vegan feast! And how I really enjoyed the time I spent with my family. I told her about the traditions we share in my house and how we typically have a wide variety of food. We are both looking forward to Christmas!
