Nickie - TP10

On 12/6/12, I met with Chae Hyeong Park at the Leon county library at 2:30. He is publishing a paper regarding the standardizing of Korean language schools in the US in relation to schools in Korea. This paper is the reason for his being in the US. He's had several views by his colleagues back home that are also English speakers, but he still wanted a review by a native speaker. We sat at the library for an hour and only made it 1/2 way through. I pointed out general areas with issues and most of the time, he was able to correct his own errors. There were a couple places that made sense, but could sound better. I explained he had done a good job, but there are areas could flow a little better. I was also full of questions regarding his study and the standardization he was referring to. So this lesson was full of conversation and grammar, both areas Park wanted to work on.
