Tuesday, 11/13 was the third time I met with Anwar at CIES. He told me that he went to Miami this past weekend with some friends who were vacationing there, but that was not the purpose of his visit - he went to look for an apartment. I asked him if he saw some nice cars in Miami and he smiled and said yes. We had discussed plans to possibly meet over the weekend at what he told me was the most interesting part of campus, the student union, for some pool, but unfortunately he had been out of town. We made tentative plans to reschedule a meeting at Crenshaw this weekend, or maybe even catch the Dirty Dozen Brass Band at Club Downunder on Friday night (free food! I'm sold. Sorry Ramin... next time!).

Anwar and I also talked about other things we might want to meet up for, such as swimming at the springs, or going to hang out at Cafe Shisha or Aladdin's. Anwar also told me the craziest thing about the price of real estate in Kuwait - from his description it sounds like houses are nearly 5 times as expensive there!
