Jordan CP2

The following Tuesday, 11/6, I met with Anwar for the second time. He said Tuesdays work better for him because he usually has to take his roommate home Thursdays when they get out of class. We walked around campus a bit and ended up on Landis Green, watching students carry out their business of picnicking, frisbee-tossing and studying. I found out that Anwar is studying mechanical engineering, as he is very good at math and it is a much needed profession in Kuwait. He plans to move to Miami as soon as he completes his studies at CIES, and start in an engineering program at UM. I showed him an awesome video of a robotic hand doing some tasks better than a human could ever dream of, at incredible speeds. I thought he might be interested because it could be the kind of technology he would like to help develop with his skills.
